Putting the social in SOCAP13
SOCAP, the international conference series run by Social Capital Markets, is the world’s most successful impact investing and social enterprise event, having convened over 5,000 people since the inaugural conference in 2008, and regularly drawing hundreds of speakers from around the globe to participate in the international gathering.
Yet, though widely recognized for it’s outstanding program and speakers, SOCAP is perhaps equally as well-known for it’s extracurricular schedule.
“[SOCAP] is kind of like Burning Man meets Wall St.,” explained Jed Emerson, Chief Impact Strategist at ImpactAssets.
“It’s a celebration and it’s a party. It’s an opportunity to learn more about finance and investment—everything that has to do with how to move capital for good—and it’s a lot of fun.”

Join us for the final after-party of the conference as HUB and Herman Miller team up to get down. With the Montclair Women’s Jazz Orchestra, we plan to celebrate the final night of this great event in style and hope you’ll join us.
HUB @ SOCAP in the Festival Pavilion
In partnership with Herman Miller, SOCAP’s pop-up Hub will come to life in Festival Pavilion. Building off last year’s successful strategy of filling the Festival Pavilion and bringing in the 108-year- old expertise of Herman Miller, the space will offer attendees spots to work, think, interact, and relax during the event. Social Entrepreneurs’ Pit Stop
The Pit Stop is an opportunity for social entrepreneurs to receive one-on- one coaching to address their current challenges from seasoned entrepreneurs and impact investors. Whether you’re an entrepreneur looking for advice on branding, managing your supply chain, raising capital, pitching, or developing a product, you can stop by the Pit Stop for a shot of energy and collaboration. Look for Pit Stop signage in the Hub @ SOCAP. The Pit Stop is brought to you in partnerships with Scott Leonard of Indigenous and Agora Partnerships.
