Jocelyn is currently a portfolio restrictions analyst at a global asset management firm specializing in risk, trading and portfolio management. She is constantly on the hunt for new innovative platforms as an intersection point for business models and markets at the base of the pyramid to contribute to progress (social or economic) in developing countries. For the past few years, she has worked primarily in finance and business development positions in Canada and South Africa, Lesotho and Cameroon and has developed different frameworks to help expand the social impact of organizations.

Jocelyn is a Knowledge Director and founding member of the Vancouver for Acumen Fund Chapter and marketing manager for Young Women in Business. She is also a mobilizer at StartSomeGood.com, an online crowdfunding platform that strives to ignite ideas, investments and impact.

Jocelyn holds a Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of British Columbia and currently lives in Vancouver. She is an impatient optimist and believes that through compassion, innovation and education, we can be the change in the world.
