Dr. Kamran Khan is an infectious disease physician and scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital and an Associate Professor with the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on understanding the health, security, and economic implications of emerging infectious diseases in an increasingly globalized world.

Dr. Khan has been developing a web-based technology known as Bio.Diaspora to operationalize his scientific research in real-time and lay the foundation for a global early warning system for infectious diseases.
