Fanny Sie is a Project Manager for the Physical Sciences and Medical Devices (Imaging) at MaRS Innovation. She is responsible for the business development and management of inventions from academic and health institutions enabling their application to achieve both health and economic benefit.

Fanny’s academic studies include a Masters in the Management of Innovation, Human Biology (HonsBSc) and a Radiation Therapy degree (BSc/M.R.T.(T.) at the University of Toronto. She worked at Princess Margaret Hospital as a Radiation Research Therapist for 8 years. In this dual role, she was involved in the management of cancer patients in the areas of treatment delivery and research and development initiatives for novel optical and imaging devices utilized for treatment target optimization.
