Madeleine Bélanger Dumontier is Communications Manager for the Municipal Services Project (MSP), a global research initiative that explores alternatives to the privatization and commercialization of service provision in the electricity, health, water and sanitation sectors. She coordinates MSP’s network of academics, NGO representatives, labour leaders and activists from different sectors and regions who believe in strong research for social change.

Madeleine also works as an independent consultant and freelance editor as part of Talkanetwork. From 2009 to 2011 she was Director of Communications for the Canadian Foundation for the Americas (FOCAL). Madeleine holds an honours master’s degree in political science from Université de Montréal. She also studied journalism at Concordia University.
