Bonnie is the founder of Pique Ventures, an investment services firm helping women invest in entrepreneurial women. She is also presently a Board director of LOCO BC, Vancouver’s network of local and sustainable businesses.

In 2009, Bonnie started working with social purpose enterprises in London, helping them get their businesses started by advising on business models and strategies for raising finance and capital.  She re-located to Vancouver, BC in 2011 and joined the social finance and investment team at Vancity.

Bonnie has previously worked with large and small entrepreneurial businesses as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte. She transferred to the London, UK office of Deloitte in 1999 and a year later moved into their Corporate Finance team, advising management teams and private equity firms on successful acquisitions, exits, and raising debt finance and equity capital.  After obtaining her Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2002,  Bonnie embarked on a five-year investment banking career, where she completed €200 million in commercial real estate financing with a German financial institution and over €500 million in debt financing with a Dutch financial institution.  She has worked with large equity investors and asset managers, identifying and analyzing investment opportunities and communicating financial information.
