Alex Levin joined SAM as a Research Associate in January 2011. Previously, Alex worked for Tanzania Capital Boosting Association (TCBA), a microfinance organization in Arusha, Tanzania. Specifically, he developed a comprehensive five-year business plan for TCBA.  Alex has additionally conducted research for Heart Social Investments in Cape Town, South Africa and assisted grant-writing for Bira Education Associates for Development (BEAD) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Alex is a StartingBloc Fellow. He will graduate from McGill University in the spring of 2011 with a BA in Geography, Economics, and African Studies.
