Besma Soltan is the skills and innovation developer at the North York Community House. She is also a communications & marketing strategist and project manager in the non-profit and social enterprise fields. Besma is the co-founder & manager of SPEAKout Organization for the Arts and Community Awareness (http://www.speakoutpoetry.com www.i,deasworthrhyming.com)

Besma was recently an information specialist with MaRS Centre for Impact Investing. She was the product manager of TaM, an online hub that provides resources for social entrepreneurs in the Middle East. Besma is a graduate from the University of Toronto in Digital Enterprise Management and has over 4 years experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and Project Management in the non-profit & social enterprise sector.
