Carla is passionate about using the tools of business, finance and design to create social and environmental change.

Carla is currently a business analyst and communications associate with Renewal2 Social Investment Fund in Vanouver, BC. Before venturing into social finance, she has a background in business and communication strategy and graphic design working with social enterprises, start-ups and multi-national corporations in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. Carla is a Communications Director for the Vancouver for Acumen Fund Chapter, Co-Founder of the Vancouver Greentech Exchange and founding member of the Young Women in Business (YWiB) association. She holds an Honours in Sustainability certificate and an Undergraduate Business and Communications degree from Simon Fraser University.
