David S. Bornstein joined SocialFinance.ca as a part-time assistant editor between January and March 2011. He is a young finance professional with a deep interest in using digital media to accelerate the adoption of capital markets solutions to social problems. David combined his experiences in Private Equity in Toronto, Microfinance in Kenya, Management Consulting in Toronto, Investment Banking in New York and fundraising in Toronto to contribute to socialfinance.ca.

David graduated with High Distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University’s BBA-Finance program and has spent time in a Masters of Emerging Markets Finance program in the South of France. David has travelled 24 countries, loves a good debate and has an enthusiasm for investing in technology initiatives in both Canada and East Africa.
