A lawyer by training, Elisa works as a journalist, producer and communications consultant. For over six years, she’s been covering issues in the nonprofit sector as a freelance reporter for Charity Village. Elisa’s portfolio also includes articles published in the Globe & Mail, National Post, CBC.ca, Profit Magazine, Elle Magazine, Lifestyles Magazine and other publications. Most recently, Elisa has been writing for SEE Change, a blog she co-founded dedicated to social enterprise and entrepreneurship in Canada.

President of Elle Communications, Elisa helps her clients—most of whom nonprofits and charities—effectively tell their stories. As a producer, Elisa worked on documentaries and current affairs programs at History Television, Discovery Health, TVO and CBC’s Marketplace.

Elisa holds a bachelors degree in political science from Concordia University and an LL.B degree from Université de Montréal and Osgoode Hall.
