Policy Analyst, Government of Ontario
Manal Siddiqui is a Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Research and Innovation, researching investment opportunities in Ontario as they relate to the Life Sciences Commercialization Strategy. She also currently chairs the Education Committee at Social Venture Partners Toronto, in addition to investing her skills, time and money to help innovating non-profits build internal capacity to solve the city’s most pressing social challenges.
Her varied career experiences span the areas of molecular biology research, health technology commercialization, transmedia production, business development, and social enterprise management. She has also been engaged with several international humanitarian aid activities that have included projects in Pakistan, Bosnia-i-Hercegovina, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, UK, and Canada.
Manal holds a M.Sc. in Business Management with a focus on Internal Audit and Islamic Finance from the Cass Business School, City of London (UK), and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Genes, Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Toronto (Canada).
