Nabeel Ahmed is the managing editor of SocialFinance.ca and an associate at the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing, providing research and program support. He is deeply engaged in social finance and impact investing in Canada and has contributed research to a number of reports as well.

Nabeel also leads the Media team for the Association for the Development of Pakistan, which engages talented volunteers from around the world to identify and fund promising nonprofits in Pakistan. He is also a Director of the Tessellate Institute, on the Executive Committee of the Pakistan Development Fund, and one of the founding members of Connect the Sector. He has also written for several publications in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Canada.

Nabeel has a Bachelor’s degree from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, Pakistan, and a Certificate in Public Administration and Leadership from Ryerson University, Toronto. He enjoys cricket, football, photography, and staying busy.
