Shawn currently works as a sessional lecturer in social entrepreneurship and innovation at Simon Fraser University, while consulting on various projects with the boutique consulting group Equilibrium Partnership, helping for and non-profit organizations and investors create social value.

He is the co-founder of Global Agents and Education Generation, both organizations that invest in individuals and ideas that have to potential to tackle global poverty. He holds a Bachelors Degree in business from Simon Fraser University and an MBA from Oxford University where he attended on full scholarship as a Skoll Scholar in Social Entrepreneurship.
