Raz is a great believer in the power of green business to create a positive change. His background includes financial management and business development positions, as well as serving as an advisor to the Israeli Minister of the Interior.I co-founded two green companies: Hemper Jeans (www.hemperjeans.com), an eco-fashion company aiming to make fashionable jeans made of hemp, and Eco-Libris (www.ecolibris.net), a green company working to green up the book industry in the digital age by promoting the adoption of green practices in the book industry, balancing out books by planting trees, and helping to make e-reading greener.

He is also an adjunct faculty at the University of Delaware’s Department of Business Administration, CUNY School of Professional Studies and Parsons the New School for Design, teaching courses in green business, economics & ethics of sustainable design and new product development.
