Senior Associate, MaRS Centre for Impact Investing

In her role at MaRS Trish focuses on building the pipeline of impact ventures in Canada. She designed and leads Impact8, a social venture accelerator and investment-readiness program, and manages venture services and outreach for the SVX. Trish has also worked on education, advisory and policy initiatives to catalyze mission investing in Canada. She authored the 2013 report Mission Possible: Assessing the Appetite, Activity and Barriers for Impact Investing Among Canadian Foundations, and co-authored “Opportunities for Impact: A White Paper on Social Impact Investing” for TD Bank.

Trish holds an MA in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She sits on the Board of Directors of Peacebuilders International, and is a former member of the Executive Committee of Toronto+Acumen. Prior to her role at MaRS, Trish worked as a financial reporter at Reuters.
