Having been involved in the non-profit sector for over 4 years, I have been exposed to the various kinds of difficulties that come with working in this field, especially the financial ones.
Working in the non-profit sector is very rewarding in ways wider and deeper than the dollar value put to it. However, it remains a struggle to secure the financial support required to kick off and sustain the kind of amazing work that our city deeply needs.
