On October 5, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto was packed with screaming student leaders all fired up for We Day, a “rock concert for social change”. The Toronto lineup included motivational speakers and musicians such as the Jonas Brothers, So You Think You Can Dance Canada's Nico Archambault, Miss Teen Canada Siera Bearchell, the cast of Degrassi, singer Justin Bieber, and rock band Hedley, all gathered to create awareness and raise funds for Free the Children. The event series began in Vancouver on September 29 and rounds off in Hamilton on November 5.
