Video: Measuring Social Impact, CECP Panel Discussion

Measuring impacts is critical to the success of any investment. This video presents highlights from a panel discussion on measuring social impact, business benefits, and investor returns at the 2010 Corporate Philanthropy Summit (presented by the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy.) The panelists featured here include Jeri Eckhart Queenan, Partner, The Bridgespan Group; Bennett Freeman, SVP, Sustainability Research and Policy, Calvert Group; Sharon D'Agostino, VP, Worldwide Corporate Contributions and Community Relations, Johnson & Johnson; with an introduction by Terence Lim, Ph.D., Report Author and Managing Director, Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The panel uses CECP's research report Measuring the Value of Corporate Philanthropy as a jumping off point for a discussion focusing on what is needed in terms of impact evidence for funders and how to identify the most promising and practical steps forward.
