The field of social finance is still relatively new and criteria for what devines an enterprise that is eligible for social financing is not written in stone.
A good rule of thumb is if the primary purpose of your enterprise is social, it is likely that you qualify to receive social financing. Importantly, it is not necessary to be a registered charity or non-profit to have access to social finance.
